Creating a Sheet

Welcome to the Sheet Creation guide for the Realm of Darkness bot.

Step 1: Create the darn sheet!

First: Open the link to the bot App in the #links-and-resources channel under the Character Creation category of the Discord Server. Once there, make sure to login. The bot App will link with your Discord account.

Then, click on the New Sheet icon as shown below:

A pop-up will appear, make sure to select Vampire under the 5th edition section as a splat. Then enter your character's name and click on Create as shown below;

And WALLAH! ( Yeah I know it's spelled Voila ) You have a sheet. To start filling the sheet, click on the purple lock icon to enter edit mode. Also, take note of the different sections/tabs of the sheet like Core, Beliefs, Advantages and so on, we'll come back to that later:

Step 2: Fill the Core.

Filling the core should be pretty easy, just follow the instructions from our character creation guide, click on the appropriate dots, Fill the top part of the sheet and make sure that Black Days is selected as the Chronicle.

Make sure to add your skill specialties by clicking on the little yellow plus sign next to the appropriate skill, as shown below;

When a skill has attached specialties, the little yellow plus sign will turn purple!

Note that trackers like Willpower and Health will fill up automatically depending on the attributes you pick.

Add your disciplines manually, and don't forget to adjust your humanity if you picked Ancillae templates.

Step 3: Fill the Bulk.

Fill out the rest of the tabs including the Beliefs, Advantages, Haven and Profile.

The Note section is free for you to use for your own needs. Make sure to include your character's backstory in the Profile tabs, if your backstory won't fit in there, send it to us in your Sheet submission ticket.

Step 4: Fill the XP tab!

To fill the XP tab, start by including the number of XP granted to you by your template. ( 15 for Outsider ( Neonate ), 35 for New Face ( Ancilla. ) or 45 for Old Timer ( Ancilla ). Before you start filling in the XP spends, make sure that the EXP CURRENT and EXP TOTAL fields are the same as shown in the picture below;

When that's done, you can start adding your XP Spends by clicking on the ADD SPEND button and filling in the fields as shown below;

IMPORTANTDo not add the XP spend dots to your sheet. The storyteller will add them once the sheet is approved. This is to avoid confusion if some of the XP spent are not approved.

Step 5: Submit the sheet!

Before submitting the sheet, make sure that it is filled properly, then go to the #sheet-submission channel to submit a ticket. This will open up a ticket channel under the tickets category of the discord server which will allow you and the storytellers to go over the sheet approval process in private!
