Ren Slater

A native of Chicago's China town, Ren Slater was first seen on the Night Scene in 2002 as a student of Critias' controversial Eternal Academy. He's also rumored to have been among the Thin Blood Alchemists who helped to found the Noble Experiment's Circulatory System connections before he ultimately severed his ties with that shadowy organization.

In more recent nights, Ren became one of many residents who became Anarch by default when Prince Kevin Jackson banished all Caitiff and Duskborn from the city save those affiliated with the Circulatory System. Unwilling to return to the embrace of the human trafficking ring, Ren fled to Gary with several others of his kind, embedding himself into Anarch society there as their swelling numbers at last toppled the city's long standing prince and former rival of Prince Lodin.

His tenure with the Anarchs would remain short indeed, however, as Ren would ultimately betrayed Anita Wainwright's location and fortification details to Critias, and through him the Prince, in an effort to earn back a place in Chicago's nights. His gambit succeeded, although the true cost of betraying the Brujah provocateur may yet need to reveal itself...
