Max arrived in New Orleans towards the end of 2012, after most of the dust had settled. Where was he before? Floating around the midwest and eastern portions of the US, Sabbat and Camarilla claimed cities. Where and why was he embraced? Who was his sire? These are questions that have not been answered by Max... From some of his mannerisms it is believed he was embraced in the first half of the 20th century and comes from a legal or criminal background; for the few kindred who care the betting lies on the criminal side. Known to be a dedicated, effective and loyal lackey of the Severed Hand, he can often be found patrolling the warehouse districts and the areas where the police are less likely to bother with. There have been some minor confrontations with kindred hunting out of their acknowledged areas or trying to expand their influence into into the Hand's spheres. He is considered to be reliable, which is doubly scary as not only a vampire but one of the Malkavians. He and his dog, Max (a likely ghouled animal), are sighted frequently among the homeless population which he seems to spend a significant amount of time with and speculation is that he sees them as his private herd and he may not even have an established haven. He appears to have good relations and mutual respect with the other Malkavians, but who the hell can tell?
