After a lapse of judgement in the 80s where he illegitimately embraced the now Anarch Caitiff Maldavis and brought shame to his clan, Nicolai sent him to war as punishment. In the recent months, the battle hardened Abraham returned home to his Chantry to find it empty; The Clan had lost it's seat at the Primogen table due to their inaction, Nicolai had been called to Vienna just in time for the Prime Chantry to fall to the Second Inquisition, Sun Che had become unhinged and completely insane after joining House Carna, and Erictho had done nothing to prevent it from crashing all down. Abraham quickly decided that he would take matters into his own hands and bring back the days where the Chicago Chantry was both feared and respected, but first, loose ends had to be dealt with.
