Avery Meeks is a staple of New Orlean's kindred society and shining example of why the legacy of the Meeks family is both feared in respected even outside of Louisiana. Her sire, Lawrence Meeks, was once the man behind Prince Doran's renowned spy network. For centuries, Lawrence helped keep Doran and the Camarilla in control of New Orleans, until he eventually left to become the Prince of Baton Rouge. Lawrence would go on to embrace a whole brood of childers who would continue his work as leaders and members of a spy network that kept Louisiana firmly under Camarilla control, Avery would be the first of these childers. A prominent figure in New Orleans' kindred politics, Avery currently acts as the leader of the Eyes of Argus krewe, which she also helped create.
Pale, spindly, emaciated, and with a raspy voice, Avery is, quite frankly, a bit creepy and intimidating to behold... like most Nosferatu. She often uses Obfuscate to present herself as a woman with cold, gaunt and elongated features. Her blonde hair is often a bit messy, dry and split ended, while her dark brown eyes and small pursed lips give her a permanently severe and strung out appearance. She likes to wear street punk attire, black leader, studs and the occasional fur jacket or high fashion garment for court. Without the veil of Obfuscate to present herself as a fairly normal human being, Avery's features resemble her obfuscated form, but the left side of the face is nothing but a hairless mess of mutilated flesh that has all but swallowed her right eye and nostril.
