DiceBot Guide

Black Days is set on an IRC server. As such, we have our very own dice rolling bot, customized specifically for VTM v5 and tailored to our specific game and house rules.
The Bot's name is Franco, you will see it in every official channel you use and it will respond to the following commands.
*Keep in mind, even though Franco will be present in all of the channels, rolling should only be done in specific channels (#hunt,#dice).

Public Rolls (Rolled in #Dice)

Command	Description	Note
!initclearall	This command clears the previous initiative order for a new scene.	This should be used whenever a new action scene starts. If there are other players in the dice channel, make sure they have their order written down first.
!initshow	This command shows the turn order of the current scene.	Only use this after the old order has been cleared and everyone rolled their initiative.
!rouse #	This command initiates a rouse, used for surging, healing, blush, etc.	If for some reason you get a reroll for the rouse, due to blood potency or Humanity 8, replace # with the number of dice.
!roll # difficulty #	This command rolls # number of dice and replaces the appropriate amount with hunger dice if applicable. The difficulty is 0 unless specified otherwise.	This is your go-to roll command.
!rollclean # difficulty #	This command rolls # number of dice without rolling your hunger dice. The difficulty is 0 unless specified otherwise.	Willpower rolls, NPC rolls
!willpower	This command rolls up to 3 failures of your most recent roll and spends 1 point of of your current willpower.	It takes 48 hours to regenerate 1 Willpower point
!herd <character> #	Expends # uses of your herd to lower the hunger of the specified character by the same amount.	It takes a week to regenerate 1 use of Herd

Discretion Rolls (Rolled in #Hunt)

Command	Description	Note
!hunt # [target Resonance] <description>	This is how you'll be hunting, you roll # dice according to your preferred hunting method, use <description> to specify which zone you have used tor the hunt, and the resonance you are trying to get.	The Resonance parameter is optional, if you don't choose one the bot will assign you one randomly. Choosing a Resonance raises the hunting difficulty. Consult Hunting for further details.

Private Rolls (Rolled in a private message to Franco)

Command	Description	Note
/msg Franco !initroll #	This rolls your initiative, replace # with your Composure+Awareness.	You should only roll this after someone used the clear-all command.
/msg Franco !awaken	Forces a wakening (rouse) call that may raise hunger.	This resets the hunger 24 hour timer.
/msg Franco !stats	This command will have Franco show you your character's updated stats.	This cannot be done in a channel, only with /msg Franco
/msg Franco !requestxp # <reasons>	This is how you make your weekly XP request for # XP. Use <reasons> to specify the merits of your requested amount.	Take a look at XP for further details.
/msg Franco !updatexprequest # <reasons>	This command is for amending a mistake you've made with the one above.	Yeah, you've done fucked up, and we can tell.
