Edith, also known as The Painted Lady, is the owner of a renowned tattoo parlor. She had vanished for many years after the Chicago War where she was gravely wounded by the Werewolves. Many thought her dead but in truth, she had crawled into hiding beneath the waters of Lake Michigan where she fell into Torpor. She re-merged a year ago and re-opened her famed tattoo shop where she sells her unusual ability to make permanent tattoos on kindred.
