In 2005 after years of traveling up and down the East Coast bouncing from city to city, Kai Willmore like many Kindred was attracted to New Orleans after hearing tell of how accepting the city was of those who couldn’t land elsewhere. At first it was just another stop, but once arriving something made them stay, and that reason was cemented once Katrina hit. It was in those nights that the Gangrel became engrossed in the local Kindred culture, soon joining a coterie lead by Avery Meeks that eventually become the Eyes of Argus. It is with the Eyes that Kai put their experience as an information broker and bastardized investigator to use, using their eyes and others to help keep careful watch over the city they came to adore.
Up until very recently they avoided making too many personal connection, only “seeing” others and not knowing them. This began to change when the latest Mardi Gras season came around, the city felt different, there was something shifting, something coming – they just didn’t know what. Not one to go against their gut, Kai has decided to take a new approach to their work and unlife by networking in Nola’s many social circles, they just hope it doesn’t end up blowing up in their face.
