Lucas was born in the middle of a war-torn France in 1942. His father survived WWII but died soon after in the Indochina War prior to its end in 1954. He grew up with his mother who turned to prostitution, learning the hard way that there was no honest work for a child. As a result, he joined a network of petty thieves and learned to pick pocket for what he needed.

It was looking for an easy mark that led him to Charles Dupont, the first and most beautiful man that had ever caught Lucas red-handed. Lucas fell in love. At 18 years old, Lucas had his first taste of vampire blood. He was groomed and followed Charles until on Valentines Day of 1970, his Master embraced him and he began his new life. Using art as play between them, Lucas' favorite pastime became drawing on his Sire's skin.

A skill that he developed over the next thirty years until he discovered the mutilated bodies.
