Soldat

Soldat is quite likely the oldest and most prominent member of Clan Gangrel in the city of Montreal at the moment. Soldat's story is shrouded in mystery, but what we do know is the he was embraced in the late 1920s and joined the Black Hand at some point. He became close friends with Ezekiel and the two created the pack known as 25:17. 25:17 were a pack of devoted Sabbat warriors who became renowned for being able to handle any suicide mission you could throw their way. They lost many packmates throughout the years but Soldat and Ezekiel always endured. However, in the latter years, Ezekiel and Soldat's faith in the Sabbat would be tested. First; when Ezekiel's sire, Sangris, was ousted as an infernalist, and then when the Cardinals chose to elevate Carolina Valez, a highly conservative Lasombra, to the seat of Archbishop of Montreal. Infighting and internal struggle, as well as old world views stifled the sect and their pack grew more and more frustrated. The local Sabbat suffered heavy blows, first from the Second Inquisition, and then, from the Black Hand itself. 25:17 vanished from the city of Montreal in 2010 during their investigation into the Black Hand. They would return in 2020 and whatever they discovered shook their faith in the Sabbat and the Black Hand so much that they betray their sect and manipulate the Second Inquisition into destroying the local Necropolis, wiping any remaining presence of Sabbat loyalists from the city. 25:17 went on to join the Anarch and, with their help, established the Barony of Montreal, turning the city into an Anarch Free State.
