The Psychopomps
The Psychopomps were originally a Coterie of roadsters from Wisconsin who made a career out of mastering the dangerous roads between the cities of Milwaukee and Chicago. Stavros, the leader of the Severed Hand was, for a time, a member of the original Psychopomps. When he came to Montreal, it was quickly clear to him that the city would require the services of a similar group, and so, with the blessing of his former Coterie mates, he founded a new chapters of the Psychopomps.
In Montreal, the Psychopomps handle a few vital tasks;
- They help smuggle Kindred in and out of Montreal, usually travelling between Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, and in some cases even Boston, New York, Chicago & Milwaukee.
- They help the Severed Hand and their Underworld allies to smuggle in all kinds of illegal and miscellaneous ( sometimes occult in nature ) goods.
- They help provide transport and security to the Circulatory System's convoys.
Most members of the Psychopomps are also part of the Severed Hand Coterie, but membership is opened to all Anarch Kindred of Montreal. ( Note that the Psychopomps are not considered a Coterie. )
Being a member of the Psychopomps comes with some risks, but with risk, come a few rewards:
- All members of the Psychopomps gain +1 dot to their resources background.
- All members of the Psychopomps gain a two dots Mask; a secret identity that comes with valid pieces of ID, including a Canadian driver's license and passport that allows them to travel to and from the US.
- All members of the Psychopomps may ask for access to the faction's fleet of armored and sun proof vehicles.
- Boons granted to the Psychopomps may sometimes be used for the benefit of its members.
